Made for the walk between the city and the trailhead.
LUEL designs outerwear, knitwear and leather goods built the way a good field jacket is built: to be repaired, not replaced. Every piece starts a few blocks from where we're standing.
Built on one street, worn on every one after it.
LUEL LLC was founded in Natick, Massachusetts by David Weinhaus, on the idea that clothing should earn its place in a closet, not just fill it. We work in small runs, in durable natural fibers — merino wool, waxed canvas, vegetable-tanned leather — and we name pieces after the streets and rivers around our workshop, because that's genuinely where they come from.
No seasonal drops for the sake of it. No fabric we wouldn't want to repair ourselves in ten years. If a jacket comes back with a torn pocket, we fix the pocket.

Runs are cut in limited numbers so we can stand behind every stitch that leaves the workshop.
